what is the BodyTalk system
BodyTalk incorporates a comprehensive system of non-invasive techniques designed to enable people to live their lives to their potential. It incorporates state-of-the-art science and philosophy to help the body unlearn the habits, beliefs, biochemical pathways and postural patterns that are restricting the healthy functioning of the body-mind complex.
BodyTalk acknowledges the profound influence the psychology of the body has on our health. We think of psychology as only relating to the mind, however; every part of the body has specific emotions, beliefs and energies that are associated with it. These underlying emotions, beliefs, energies and as well as any contributing environmental, biochemical and ancestral factors must also be addressed for a disease to be resolved.
BodyTalk seeks to address the “whole person,” the “body-mind”, meaning no aspect of the human experience should be overlooked. The beauty of BodyTalk is that it provides insights into the areas of your body-mind that need attention and in what priority and sequence they need to be addressed.
BodyTalk helps you to appreciate how a disease develops and why it is maintained. The BodyTalk practitioner does not diagnose disease or perform massage, manipulations, needling or injections. The BodyTalk practitioner does not prescribe diets, herbs, supplements or medications.
Clinical experience has shown that once the body’s overall systems are balanced through BodyTalk, clients have exhibited significant improvement in many areas of health…
understanding your session
A BodyTalk Session Tailored Just For You…
Background and Communication
You and your BodyTalk Practitioner often need to begin your session by discussing your health status and whatever other personal issues you may wish to address. Then, you will either relax in a chair or on a treatment table while the practitioner, positioned at your side, will gently use your arm in such a manner to establish Yes/No communication. This Yes/no communication is also called neuromuscular biofeedback, which is similar to applied kinesiology.

Reflexology
How does Reflexology help you?
For example a spot in the arch of the foot corresponds to the bladder. When applying pressure to this area, it will affect the bladder.
Reflexology helps with anxiety, IBD, IBS, colitis, migraines, sinusitis, back and knee pains, asthma, cancer treatment, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, headaches, kidney function, PMS, sinusitis and all other chronic and acute ilnesses, aches and pains.
Understanding Your Session
A typical treatment is usually 45 minutes long (but varies depending on each case) and begins by filling out a health form and consultation about you’re your overall health. The Information is then used by the reflexologist to customize your therapy.
You will then be asked to remove your shoes and socks and sit comfortably on a massage table. The reflexologist will do a quick analysis of your feet by pressing on certain areas to feel tension or inflammation.
A reflexologist may use oil to warm his hands. The oil also helps the reflexologist apply pressure while utilizing the reflexology techniques.
Reflexology is mostly very relaxing, but should there be pain in a specific location that may indicate the reflexologist will need to spend extra time on that point. If you feel discomfort, be sure to tell the reflexologist as the applied pressure must work within your comfort zone.
Reflexology is known to be a successful means of therapy used by many around the world independently, as an alternative, or complementary to other therapies.
